Now more than ever, it is essential for Black and Brown members of the LGBTQ+ community to equip themselves with knowledge that could quite literally be life-saving. Every day in America presents a unique risk when we are not fully aware of our rights, the laws that govern us, and the policies that shape our daily lives. With legislation and policies changing at an unprecedented pace, staying informed is not just a matter of advocacy and education—it is a matter of survival.
It is imperative that we become a resource for those who may not have access to this critical information, ensuring that our community remains protected, empowered, and prepared to navigate the legal and social challenges we face. My unwavering commitment is to serve as a pillar of knowledge and support for the Memphis community and the state of Tennessee at large. Through education, outreach, and advocacy, I strive to foster a more informed and resilient LGBTQ+ community, where no one is left vulnerable due to a lack of information.
