Marginalized communities have made business and personal life work well without government assistance before and we can do it again. I would like for us to focus on the activities we CAN control and not the fear-mongering that exists to distract us.
May our chamber and the board invest well in our youth and young adults, as the next generation will need guidance on how to prevent upheavals in our democracy from happening again, especially for LGBTQ businesses and communities.
Be encouraged that you are not alone. Together, leaning on one another we can solve so much, and have a thriving community.
